Wool felt in rolls
Felt rolls are made of pressed wool felt. Production is governed by SAE specifications F-1 to F-55, DIN specification no. 61200, Federal Specification CF 206, British Specification No. BS-4060 and Russian specification no. GOST 6308-71. Pressed wool felt in the form of rolls is also often known as "Technical felt".
Specifications of wool felt in a roll:
- composition: pure wool felt (100% wool) or blended felt (wool / man-made fibers)
- thickness: from 1 mm to 30 mm
- density: from 0,18 g / cm3 (very soft) to 0,70 g / cm3 (very hard)
- colors: natural white or grey
Wool felt in rolls can be used in countless applications and industries for the production of washers, seals, insulations, lubrication equipment and parts, damping components and washers, work pads, cleaning components, squeegees, etc. It is mainly used in the mechanical, electrical, transport, packaging and steel industries.
You can choose from two categories according to color. As for the function and properties of the felt, both colors are of the same quality. The only difference is in color and price, as grey felt is cheaper. If you do not care about color, we recommend grey felt, which is more affordable for you. If clean processing and clean application are important to you, natural white felt will be a better choice for you.
